IPTV on Firestick
Fire TV Stick, Fire TV Cube and televisions with Fire TV built in. You will need your Amazon account password once, and the connection details we send you.
Before you start
- Your Fire TV remote and the device already set up on your television.
- The Wi-Fi password for the network the Fire TV is on.
- The connection details supplied with your subscription.
Step by step
Setting up on Amazon Fire TV & Firestick

Open the app store on your Fire TV
From the Fire TV home screen, move to the magnifying glass at the top left and search for the player app name we sent you. Select it from the results.

Install the player
Choose Get or Download. The Fire TV downloads and installs it, which usually takes under a minute on a normal connection.

Open the player and find the login screen
Launch the app from the Your Apps & Channels row. Most players open straight onto a screen asking for an account, a playlist or a portal address.

Enter your connection details
Type in exactly what we sent you, character for character. Watch for capital letters and for a trailing space when you paste. This is the step where most problems start.

Let the guide load, then start watching
The first load pulls in the channel list and the programme guide, so give it a moment. Once the categories appear on the left you are set up.
If something is not right
Try these first
- Nothing appears after you sign in: check the details for a typo, then restart the app.
- The picture stutters on a Fire TV Stick: close other apps from Settings → Applications, and keep the stick away from the back of the television if the Wi-Fi signal is weak.
- The remote will not type: use the Fire TV app on your phone as a keyboard.
