IPTV on Smart TV
Samsung, LG and other televisions with their own app store. Most sets from roughly 2018 onwards can run a compatible player without any extra box.
Before you start
- Your television connected to the internet and signed in to its own app store.
- The make, model and year of the set, in case we need to check it.
- The connection details supplied with your subscription.
Step by step
Setting up on Smart TVs

Open your television’s app store
On Samsung this is Apps; on LG it is the LG Content Store. Other makes use their own name, usually reachable from the home button.

Search for the player we recommended
Use the on-screen keyboard to search for the app name in the details we sent you, then install it.

Note the device ID if the app shows one
Some smart TV players show a device ID or MAC address on first launch. If yours does, send it to us — it is how your subscription is matched to the set.

Enter your connection details
Add them on the television, or on the player’s own web page if it gives you one — typing on a phone or computer is far less painful than using the remote.

Reload and start watching
Close the app fully and reopen it so it picks up the new details, then let the channel list load.
If something is not right
Try these first
- The player is not in your TV’s store: your set may be too old for it. Send us the model number and we will suggest an inexpensive streaming stick instead.
- The app closes by itself: older televisions run short of memory. Restart the set from the wall rather than the remote.
